As a manufacturer of semi-finished products in copper and copper alloys, we have an obligation to protect the environment. Our production plants are energy-intensive. We therefore strive to use electricity and gas as sparingly and efficiently as possible.

Our plants are located in the immediate vicinity of residential districts, countryside and bodies of water.
This means that we have a special responsibility for preventing noise nuisance and contamination of water, soil or the atmosphere.

The environment is therefore an important factor in our corporate decision-making processes.

We will continue to set ambitious objectives for ourselves, in conformity with our environmental policy and on the basis of the certified environmental management system.

Wieland-Werke AG with all four plants is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2005. The largest production site, the Vöhringen plant, is additionally validated according to the EU regulation EMAS II.
